2021 Membership Dues Structure
Four Membership Levels
Dues levels are determined based on the prior year’s South Dakota Construction Volume. All
listed amounts include AGC State and National Dues. Members can choose to make monthly
installment payments with a 3% interest charge on amounts outstanding.
Full General Contractor Member
Defined as: an individual, partnership, corporation, or other business entity that is capable of performing construction work as a contractor with overall responsibility for the satisfactory completion of a project using its own forces to perform or supervise part of the work AND which performs 25% of its total volume of work as a general contractor.
0 - $2 Million | $2,500 |
$2 - $5 Million | $5,000 |
$5 - $10 Million | $7,500 |
$10 - $20 Million | $10,000 |
$20 - $50 Million | $15,000 |
> $50 Million | $20,000 |
Visiting General Contractor Member
Defined as: any individual or firm belonging to another out of state AGC Chapter.
0 - $5 Million | $2,500 |
$5 - $25 Million | $5,000 |
> $25 Million | $10,000 |
Subcontractor/Specialty Contractor
Defined as: any individual or firm who cannot qualify for membership as a general contractor member, but who performs a portion of the work on a construction site and has not undertaken a volume of work as a “general contractor” that amounts to more than 25% of their total volume of business measured over the two proceeding calendar years.

Professional Service/Supplier
Defined as: manufactures or suppliers of construction related products or equipment or companies providing professional services to construction, such as attorneys/law firms, CPA, insurance companies/agents, etc.
